Final Production: Location Planning

For our final production we will need to find a good location to film. Certain things must also be considered such as lighting, space and availability.

Lingham Park:

Lingham Park is a large, open park that gives us plenty of filming space and also has an alleyway which could be useful for closer shots. There is also lots of natural light which means we don't need to provide lighting and it isn't very busy meaning people won't get in the way.

Birkenhead Park:
Birkenhead Park has lots of space and many different areas to film in. The park has light areas under the sun as well as dark areas under trees, which we could use to our advantage, however since it is a public place that many people visit, it may be difficult to film without people getting in the way.

Bus Stop along Millhouse Lane:
This bus stop is on a fairly quiet road. This location has a large open patch behind it as well as the road and the bus stop itself, providing room to film. There is also plenty of natural light as well as light from the bus stop if it is dark. Although there is space behind it, the grass doesn't get cut often which could make filming difficult and we would have to be aware of cars on the road.

Bidston Woods:
Bidston Woods is suitable location as it provides lots of space with great areas to film. There is natural light as well as shadows from the trees and few people visit meaning we wouldn't have to worry about distractions. However, the woods wouldn't make much sense for our final production because it is so secluded.

Wirral Way:
The Wirral Way is a suitable place to film as there are a lot of features that make the setting interesting. There is lots of space to film giving us many opportunities for different camera angles and shots. It would also work very well for a chase scene.
