SWAT Team!?
Filming was interrupted when a black helicopter began hovering over us...
We decided it wasn't a great idea to use prop guns near a children's playground.
Filming Begins
15th January 2016:
We originally wanted to begin filming on this day, but some of us were unavailable so filming had to be pushed back.
16th January 2016:
We were unable to film on this day due to Ryan's Saturday job. Filming had to be pushed back once again.
24th January 2016:
We finally found a suitable day to begin filming where all four of us were available. Unfortunately, Ryan's friend Leah was unavailable, so couldn't play the role of the victim at the beginning of the film. Luckily, his friend Charlotte was willing to take up the role. We had a very productive day of filming from 10:00 - 5:00 and the film is about half-way complete. However, just after we started filming, we realised Riley was better with the camera than Oliver, while Oliver was better at running, so they switched roles. We have agreed to meet again next Sunday to continue filming.

Final Production Details
After many weeks, we have finished planning our final production.
Story and Camera Angles:
Location:
Costumes and Props:
Story and Camera Angles:
- A criminal runs from two police officers after murdering someone
- A fast paced introduction to an action/thriller film
- No dialogue to avoid the risk of sound issues
- Many intense and interesting camera angles including wide shots, close-ups, and high angle shots
Location:
- Wirral Way, West Kirby
- This location is easy to reach for all of us as we all live quite close to it. There aren't many people around to interfere with filming and it is a great location for a chase scene. There are many places we can film from including paths with walls on either side, and bridges.
Costumes and Props:
- Suits and hoodies
- The two officers will wear suits to make them look official, while the criminal will wear a hoodie and jeans
- Guns
Final Genre Choice
We have decided to make our final production an action/thriller chase scene. The reason behind our decision is that it works very well as the opening to a film as, if it is done well, it immediately draws the audience in and keeps them from leaving. It is also a great way to fit in lots of camera angles and shots due to the fast paced nature of a chase.
Storyboard and Shot Lists
Draft 1
This version of the storyboard only contains six panels, so it is not very detailed and there aren't many different shots. This means it is not very interesting, so we have decided not to use this version.
Draft 2
This version of our storyboard is much more detailed and interesting than the previous one. There are a number of camera angles and shots used, but we didn't like the way we ended it, so we decided to make another draft.
